The whole property is ill kept. The staff seem disenfranchised. Everything is run down. The back of the hotel has a huge dump area where either old bedding or yet to be washed is sprawled.

Staff was very pleasant, but the room was in poor condition. Missing a mirror, lots of scuffs on the walls, dirty windows, no hangars for the clothes rack, no closet, juts felt generally run down. And not cheap...$275 a night.

The outside of the hotel has been remodeled and looks really nice, so we were expecting the rooms to be updated as well. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When we first got to our room, the bathroom looked like it had just been used. There was a towel on the floor, a wet washcloth left in the shower, and some tiles were missing in the shower. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room, and the staff member was very apologetic and switched us right away, which I appreciated. The second room was cleaner and better overall, but still had issues. The water pressure was very weak, and the toilet didn’t flush well. The walls are also very thin — we were on the bottom floor and could hear a lot of noise from outside as well as from the room above us. The staff did their best to make it right, but the rooms themselves are dated and could definitely use some maintenance and updates.

We've stayed at the Sands multiple times - and usually love it. This time, we checked in at 4pm, and they had "no more rooms of our type" - check in starts at 3, but apparently people checked in early. We ended up in a room with one King (but have a tall teenage boy) who ended up having to sleep on a sofa bed. The Sands said they would refund us to make up for the inconvenience, but ended up giving us $20 for the inconvenience. I felt they could have figured out a different solution, or refunded us a larger portion of our stay, since we had reserved a 2Q bedroom MONTHS ago. I understand they overbooked, but they didn't try hard to accommodate us nor make up for the situation we were in. We were truly disappointed on this visit.

My room had a leak in the ceiling and my things got wet, the phone in the room was disconnected and when I called the front office I had to do so with my cell phone and the mini refrigerator wasnt latch on so the door kept falling when you opened it.

The ADA bathroom is not designed for the water to slope down to the shower drains so it made a mess of the entire bathroom floor:( The split ac system is so dirty with dusk and the room floor has lots of cracked damages. The pool area was missing towels and the jacuzzi looks so dirty.

They put an elephant in the room above us they were so loud. And the bed was hard, TV was small and didn't work picture was frozen a lot and hard to change channel. Parking was awful. Room was clean, workers were polite and worked for a place to crash but won't be back.

Hotel has been remodeled but bed was off frame and noisy and mini fridge was loud and running most of the night. For the location and price it’s fine. Just wasn’t my best time staying there this time. I have stayed there over past 7 years and have watched it change with many different owners and managers.

One of the rooms we booked didn't even have a burner/stove top in the "Kitchenette", the fridge didn't work (they did bring in a new smaller one), and there weren't any of the kitchen essentials available as apparently they don't have enough to actually provide for all of the "kitchenette" rooms. So we pretty much paid extra to have an extra (small sink). Bed were comfortable, which is important.
