Happy with the stay

Super nice property owner. Not a lot of bells and whistles with the house itself, but we enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. It was a great value for San Miguel. Secure parking and beautiful grounds were a big plus.

The house is really beautiful in a gorgeous setting. It is within walking distance of San Miguelle center. The owner and his daughters were very helpful.

Tu casa en el parque it’s a beautiful house in a quiet private area. My first contact was with a men inside the gate he asked that we leave our ID before entering the house. This request made me uncomfortable because I’m in a new place and I’m not used to leaving my ID anywhere. We whey inside and we where directed to our room. Manolo it’s the house owner he came to talk to us and offer Water. We want outside to look around town, I was a bit uncomfortable because we only had 2 pillows witch were to soft and the beautiful house had no air conditioning, so because of this I was unable to sleep.We had a reservation for 3 nights but only stayed one night. The lack of air conditioning makes me want to run away. Otherwise it’s ok to stay there.

Good first impression BUT that’s about it

When my boyfriend and I first arrived here we were very excited about its location as well as cleanliness however over the course of our stay our opinion changed dramatically. When we first booked this place online it mentioned that there was housekeeping but we went two days without our room being upkept, no water bottles replaced, nor toiletries. It was quite obvious that nobody had even entered our room since we had gotten there. Considering that there wasn’t anybody on site we couldn’t even ask for these things to be taken care of. When we happened to run into the man that had greeted us and let us into our room the first day he asked us if we needed any thing I asked him if we could have our room made up and he said “oh, you want us to clean your room?”. I asked him to please clean the room and once we got back that night we realized that the room still hadn’t been cleaned because according to them they didn’t have spare keys to access the room while we were away. The next day we asked for them to clean the room again they cleaned the room while we were away and once we had returned back to the hotel that night we were concerned because the door to the room was left wide open. I was worried that all of our things might’ve been missing and maybe even our passports stolen. We had been gone for over eight hours so this meant our room had been open all day! To top it all off on the morning that we were supposed to fly back home there was no hot water for us to shower.

Elegante, bien ubicado, entorno privado.

Esta casa victoriana en la privada del Parque es hermosa por sus acabados de lujo y funcional por su excelente ubicación cerca del Centro Historico de San Miguel de Allende. Su anfitrión, el Sr. Manolo Carbajo es amable y siempre está al pendiente de las necesidades de los huéspedes. El desayuno muy bueno. El entorno tranquilo pues a pesar de estar cerca del Centro, no se escucha el bullicio, sólo se escuchan pájaros y grillos. Hay vigilancia las 24 horas, En verdad te sientes como en tu casa. Muy recomendable.
