We stayed here for two nights. The room was nice and clean. However, we stayed in a room on the first floor and could hear every footstep & noise from the room on top. It was a bit annoying, so if you stay here maybe suggest a room on the second floor. Or maybe we just got unlucky. Breakfast is super simple, It’s not your average hotel breakfast you would normally have in mind lol. Overall it was nice and walking distance to the beach.

Close to beach, dog friendly, and free EV charging. Downstairs rooms have no sound insulation from upstairs rooms. Can be very loud. I believe if you stay there with your dogs you will be put in a downstairs room…

This was our first time staying at the castle inn. We live close by, so we’ve stayed at many hotels on the central coast. This one was great quality for the cost. It was also pet friendly, so a welcome bonus since we brought our dog. Recently renovated, impeccably clean and nice breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Room next to us was overstuffed w people for some kind of women's meetup. Early evening it was clearly ramping up and when I talked to the manager around 8:45, he suggested calling back before 10 if it was still loud. Called back about 9:50 but oddly enough, no one answered. They partied all night, and even w earplugs, I couldn't really sleep. I get that people go to hotels to have fun, but, they also go there to sleep. A quick reminder conversation w them from the manager would have gone a long ways. The grounds seemed nice enough. Easy access to Moonstone Beach. Would suggest to someone looking for a place to stay they check other options.

The location is wonderful, right across the street from the beach. The property was just renovated and very clean. Jack checked us is and was very friendly and answered some our questions about the area. Very happy with our choice of hotel.
