This hotel was a stop after a six-hour road trip. We had very low expectations and didn’t expect much at all, but surprisingly, the moment we walked in our room, it felt like coming home. The fireplace in the room was easy to turn on and was perfect for warming up our tired bodies. The bathtub in the bathroom was exceptionally clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. We had a very relaxing and restful night. Although it was raining so we couldn’t walk around much, the ocean is right in front of the hotel, with a boardwalk nearby. It would be a wonderful place for anyone who wants to enjoy the ocean view.

I have stayed at Moonstone Landing several times and though pricey, I always end up going back. This visit, I stayed in room 212. The room was clean-nothing fancy but simple and had everything I needed including a mini fridge and a microwave. I also love the wooden floors-so much better than icky carpet. Beware though, there is no ac so sometimes it can be warm especially when the sun is shining. I had to use the fan during the early afternoon hours. At one time, the elderly woman who used to be at the front desk was rather unfriendly and snooty. This time, at check in, I was surprised to find several new faces manning the front desk-all of the gals were kind, helpful and cheerful. :) The complimentary breakfast was simple but appreciated. The endless supply of coffee was a nice touch and they always had giant cookies in the lobby in the afternoons. I stayed 4 days and enjoyed every minute. I am definitely going back soon.
