The room was very nice. I chose an executive king and it had a very comfortable bed and a small kitchen area. The room was clean. The grounds were very nicely done. Breakfast was good. I will be back. Location was great. Staff were great.

Very clean room, looks like it was recently renovated. One TV in the main room didn't work, and there were no chairs to sit in, though there was a love seat. Nice property, staff friendly. Would stay here agin.

Lovely property. Very quiet, block from the beach, spacious, remodeled rooms, plus free parking, bikes, breakfast, WiFi and no resort fees. First stayed here in 1994 and happy to keep coming back. Love that Santa Barbara has so many independent hotels and this is one of the best!

It was a quaint hotel just a block from the beach and much less expensive then most hotels in the area. Very friendly staff and fresh homemade cookies. Free parking and breakfast. Will stay there again.

The room was good and the property was very nice. Good location also. The room however was extremely warm. The AC did not work and even with the windows open all night it was ridiculously hot. We actually left in the middle of the night due to the heat. We went to talk with someone in the office, but it was closed at the time.

Staff was very courteous (CJ and Ben). I had some iPhone issues and had to get some assistance with fixing it. Ben helped with how to work the flatscreen remote in my room (not intuitive) but Ben was very patient with getting it working. I will be back and will definitely like to schedule Room 151. My pup really liked being able to run outside to the enclosed patio too. Aside from the iPhone and the remote, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
