Loved our stay , we stay at this hotel everytime we come to Santa Cruz . The breakfast is amazing . Waffles . Eggs. Cinnamon rolls . Cereal bagels fruit yogurt ect . Juice .coffee .hot coco . All day infused water , coffee and hot coco

Room/Suite was very large and comfortable. Even though we were facing the street we couldn't hear any street noise. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and tasty. Several hot items in the buffet were a plus. The desk staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. If I had a complaint, we had a pretty worn couch/sleeper in our suite (room 200) that wasn't completely closed and there was a huge tear in the armrest. I know the property is going through renovations at this time, so we were willing to overlook this problem with our room. Other than that, it was a lovely overnight stay.

Room was in good condition but needs reading lamp beside the couch or easy chair or both, not just by beds. Vending machines were very poorly maintained, few if any prices shown & mostly empty. This hotel was undergoing renovation work which I don't feel was communicated at booking. Breakfast was typical fare & pretty good but hot items not kept warm enough.
