Clean room, very nice that there was a water purifier in the room for drinking water, comfortable bed, very nice breakfast/service staff at the restaurants. I did not LOVE the hotel but I would return because of the staff who were absolutely wonderful in making accommodations that were necessary due to some travel difficulties prior to my arrival. My colleague expressed the same - the hotel is "ok", but the staff were tremendous and this sets the stage for a wonderful stay. Thank you to the team at Hotel Cumbres Lastarria.

I'm unable to recommend Hotel Cumbres Lastarria. The hotel is in a great walkable neighborhood. Unfortunately, our advance request for early check-in did not happen (which is important when you're flying from half way around the world). Then we were booked into a room where the mini fridge did not work. The bigger issue is the AC did not work properly (and this was nearly summertime). By the second night, we asked to be moved to a different room. I credit the hotel front desk for honoring this request. At times, the front desk seemed understaffed. We also figured out where to find a nearby supermercado (after a door person/valet told us there were none nearby). I wanted to rate the hotel higher, but these were too many issues.

Spacious, comfortable room with great shower. Only disappointment was that bar and restaurant weren't open in the evenings, contrary to Expedia details. Location is great though, with plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Spa / massages no longer available but concierge kindly contacted nearby luxury hotel to book treatments.
