****New To VRBO***Welcome to Villa Jaguar, #25, in the Bahia Pez Vela Resort and a quick walk (1 to 2 minutes) to the Ocean.
Our Villa has direct ocean views from most windows. The views are especially breathtaking sitting on the upper balcony of the Master bedroom. We are very private location in the resort, no neighbours behind. The Villa has four bedrooms and four bathrooms with a full kitchen and all the amenities. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor and one bedroom that is separate from the main villa. This “Casita” boasts a full washroom, bedroom with King Bed, air-conditioning, fridge, microwave, coffee maker & kettle. All new furniture and lots of recent upgrades.

The outdoor seating area on the private covered patio is where you will spend much of your time when not sitting poolside or swimming in the warm ocean. The comfortable outdoor covered patio offers beautiful ocean and mountain views perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing at the end of the day with a drink watching the sun go down. 4km to Playa Del Coco and very close to lots of great restaurants and night life. Easy to organize day trips, sunset cruises, zip lining and much more through the resort.

The resort is nestled in a quiet cove with beautiful black volcanic sand, clear waters surrounded by tropical forests and wildlife. There are three pools, two are beach front and attached to a gourmet restaurant called Soluna. The food and staff are amazing and the tropical drinks are mixed to perfection. The restaurant offers room service as well as a chef service in villa for private dinners or a beach dinner or a packed lunch to take on your travels. The third pool is an infinity pool high up at the top of the resort with gorgeous ocean and mountain views, an amazing spot to relax and watch the sun set.

Beautiful place to stay! Such a comfortable villa with everything you need & more! The hosts have thought of everything; beach chairs, snorkel gear, games, books, sunscreen, scrumptious smelling toiletries, a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful furnishings...I could go on and on. The resort itself was a private cove oasis - beautiful, picturesque, private, quiet (except the wildlife!), explore worthy and relaxing. Recommended a massage and definitely a dinner/lunch at the onsite restaurant! Highly recommend! Stop searching, you found the right place!

Absolute Paradise!

We have just returned from a week at the Bahia Pez Vela resort near Playas del Coco in Guancaste Costa Rica. The resort, about an hour from Liberia, is located on a secluded hillside overlooking the calm Pacific. It is breathtakingly beautiful.The red-tiled roofs of the private homes add color to the green landscaping and contrast to the blue of the ocean and sky. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained.Our 3 bedroom plus casita villa was perfect for the seven of us. My daughters and children had the main house and I got to retreat to the privacy of the own apartment. The house is spacious, attractively decorated, comfortable and cool with red tile floors. It offers every comfort and amenity. The open floorplan made it easy to gather for meals and socializing. We also spent eary mornings on the outdoor patio overlooking the Pacific, llistening to the monkeys and bird watching.The children spent most mornings at the pool or beach - swim toys, boogie boards and snorkling equipment provided.Soluna, the open air restaurant, was lovely, and we had many delicious meals there. Breakfast was especially good!We rented a golf cart for the week to get around. The children loved it! We went into town several times and also to Father Rooster for dinner a couple of times.The office staff were so helpful in arranging activities. We enjoyed the half day sail and full day adventure tour.All in all it was a magical week in a beautiful place. 5 STARS!

We really loved our villa. The resort was very relaxing and beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful, from paper towels to propane for the bbq they had it ready to go. The beach is in a private cove and the pools are located right by the beach. Staff is always on hand to grab you a chair or a drink. Resort is a little off the beaten path, like most of them, so rent a car if you are planning on doing and exploring. Roads are easy to navigate. Huge thanks to Belinda, our host. She was in close contact and a great communicator the entire trip. My father is 80 and I had a few concerns, she was beyond helpful. Great family vacation
