My host was extremely slow in returning my mssages, up to 6-8 hours, even on days when he was working. 1- Construction imeediately below us, was not helpful2- Hot tub didn't work nor was I shown how to use it3- No hairdryer in the house at all, if so, was never shown4- WAY TOO MANY HOUSE KEYS, major pain and cumbersome5- NO LABELS on of the ten light switches in the main room, not helpful at all6- NOT 1 clock in any of the rooms is not helpful at all7- Wifi booster in bedroom 3 that I slept in, worked at all. 8- NEED SHOWER matts in the shower , the tile in the enitre HOME is extremely slick and my dad almost hit head on a toliet or sink due to the massively slippery floors all of the house. ** This was my least favorite house of all the ones I've rented previously for 10 yrears, I was NOT happy with house at all. Let alone the main road up the MTN literally next to the Master Bedroom with no definition in on the listing on VRBO site. Overall, a very poor experience. *** I would appreciate a Credit of some kind for ALL of the items to took time to report back on.

Beautiful view and wonderful pool! Spacious and clean. Convenient to beach and other activities. Hooks for towels and wet suits would be the only suggestion. The Hermosa heights website advertises a swim up bar and gym which is not available.

View and the pool are the positives

Although the sea view is beautiful and the inifinity pool is lovely, almost everything else about the property is lacking. The bathrooms and furnishings are very dated. The primary suite has an extremely small, awkward walk-in closet attached to bath with no door between. Two bedrooms do not connect to main house and are only accessible by outside walk along pool so would not be suitable for younger kids. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. The patio is just feet from the development road which is not busy but still a bit unnerving with a larger car or truck. Kitchen is poorly equipped and with pans that have old nonstick coating which is damaged and has been shown to cause toxins to leech into food during cooking as well as black utensils (also old and not particularly safe to use with heat). Finally, on our first full day there, we asked for measuring spoons and a liquid measuring cup which we wound up buying ourselves. On the bright side, Edgar was great, grocery delivery was very convenient and he did drop off beach chairs for us on our last day when requested.

Retirement reset

My wife and I sent an amazing 3 weeks in Costa Rica. We rented Casa Lasky before there were any comments, therefore we were a tad concerned. Much to our delight, the place was as described and shown in the pictures. Casa Lasky sits in a gated community. We felt safe. Management was extremely responsive. We did not need them much because we had very few problems during our stay. It was clean, air conditioning in each room. Nice pool. An appropriate amount of privacy. Located close to a market, restaurants, and access to the beach. We would stay here again.
