Had booked hoping to have four relaxing days to recharge and catchup on bills and editing photos. However the WiFi didn’t work so I had to spend an additional $50 for a hotspot. There’s no where to relax and unwind on the property or beach. No relaxing seating. Tiles they used are super dangerous when wet and I almost slipped multiple times. Mosquitos got in through an air vent or something so sleep was a constant battle of fighting buzzing bugs and that’s after the bar next door closed down their loud music. The staff was great and helpful but there’s not much they can do to fix these core issues without some remodeling and investment.
They tried to blame bad WiFi on AIS but my hotspot and e-sim worked just fine. I think it’s probably related to their routers and extenders being old and damaged.
Very small room but again the staff did a nice job sprucing it up as much as they could.

Good confortabke property

The property was clean and staff very friendly. The amenities were minimal but all worked as expected. Great location next to immigration check and very close to walking street. Good property if your looking for something very functional and not too expensive!

Not so charming.

There was a rat in the walks scratching every night. Nothing was done about it. None of the staff seemed to care. Slept terribly. The breakfast was absolutely awful. Front desk clerks close the desk and do not answer calls after 9 pm, so if you've a problem, you're SOL until morning. Just wasn't a pleasant stay. A plethora of charming guesthouses and hotels are easily found on the island

Like to come back to this hotel

A nice hotel in the middle of pattaya beach. Service is almost perfect from a 3* hotel. Jerry pick-up and drop, tasty welcome drink, in-house tour booking, multi-breakfast selection, friendly stuff, nice lady manager. Only one thing requires improvement, the shower-toilet room, needing better fitting

It was right on the beach and a central location on Pattaya beach. We didn’t find Pattaya beach to be too loud at all as the villas were far back enough. Great hotel staff, especially our luggage guy!

Die 3 gebuchten Tage im Hotel Charming sind schwer zu beurteilen! Das Personal ist echt super freundlich und sie geben sich sehr mühe, holen und bringen das Gebäck zu den Speedbooten. Die Hotelanlage liegt eigentlich super direkt am Strand, leider ist gleich neben an eine Bar mit MEGA Bass bis 0200Uhr. Auch der Wasser Druck in der Dusche ist kaum da. Auch die Klimaanlage ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Insel wäre Top wen auch der rege Bootsverkehr rund um die Insel ein bisschen reduziert würde

Spacious room. Loud music at night

Nice spacious room at ground floor. Bed was ok. Fine location and a good vibe but at night there is loud music from bar close by until 2 pm. Hard to sleep. Very loud tuesdays I think. Also, thin roof - we were waken up by steps from neighbours upstairs and had to listen to that all morning. So would apply for first floor rooms. Would eat breakfast at café Lipe! Nice, helpful staff!
