The ocean view from the balcony was amazing along with the promenade! We were on the 3rd floor but be sure to avoid the 2nd floor because there is much obstruction! The staff were very helpful.

It was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was very nice. The facility is in the middle of a restoration which is greatly needed as the facility is pretty run down. View was drop dead gorgeous. Also the bed was very stiff. Not good for people with arthritis. It is very close to the beach and shops so it made it really convenient.

While the hotel is under going renovations, and therefore a little cluttered and noisy, I absolutely loved this location. There is nothing like being directly on the promenade and beach, right in the heart of Seaside. Our room was premium king overlooking the ocean, and I would absolutely stay here again and again.

Cheap, tacky and dirty

Not good. A couple days after I booked this through Hotels.com. I got an email and they said that I could upgrade the room and get two beds with a view for $10 more. When I got to the hotel, this did not happen and it didn’t seem to be an option. The person behind the desk seemed confused. This made our stay uncomfortable as we were expecting two beds and not one small bed. Also, we were told that our room would have a view of the ocean. If you walked upstairs and stood on your tippy toes, you could see the water, but could not see the beach as there was construction, going on on the roof with tools, cones and construction stuff in front of our view. Again, if you stood on your tippy toes, you could get a glimpse of Water. Definitely manipulating. There was construction going on that seem to be everywhere in the building. From the parking lot up to the hotel. Not to mention the quality of work looked To be corny and tacky. Lobby and throughout the hotel looked unclean and in disarray. Our next-door neighbor in the hotel was obviously smoking tons of whatever and was hacking all night. When we turned on our ceiling fan clumps of inch thick dustballs came floating down. This place was not clean. As guests we are open to rickety and vintage places but this place is sold as being somewhat extravagant but wouldn’t be much better than a road side motel. We should’ve stayed at a different place next-door. We will never come back to this spot as we paid almost 300 bucks. Ridiculous

Paul at the front desk was absolutely the most helpful person at the front desk that I’ve ever had as well as cheerful and overall made the environment seem very nice! The room was super clean and the view was absolutely amazing!

The room had carpet that covered an uneven floor with depressions and what appeared to be holes in the floor. The entry way by the exterior door had wires hanging and the door frame was missing wall covering with tar paper hanging by the door, In the room, there was no air conditioning (but did offer a large fan to plug in and use for air movement), lamps with water stains and torn lamp shades, and a bathroom door with a large hole where it appears that someone had kicked the door in from the inside of the bathroom. We were very disappointed in the condition of the room, and when the information and photos were shared with the front desk, the hotel offered $39 off the $159.00 room cost. A plus was that the bed was very comfortable. Would not recommend staying at this site.

Seattle and Oregon Coast Trip

Enjoyed our time in Seaside, Oregon and our stay at the Promenade was great. Despite the renovations most everything was top notch. Within walking distance to so much ... the ocean, shops and restaurants. We even walked to church a block away @ Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church✝️🙏 Quite unexpected to us was the annual Classic Car Show plus the Sand Castle competition taking place the weekend we arrived. **If I could suggest...it would have been nice at check-in to have been given info regarding these activities and directions driving in and out of the hotel as so many street were blocked off. We went to get a few groceries items Saturday morning and couldn't get back to our hotel ... we called the hotel to ask for directions but the young lady said she was young and didn't know names of streets to get us back. Luckily we figured it out. We took a day trip down 101 South and the coast line was beautiful. We also went to Tillamook and enjoyed our self guided tour at the Tillamook Creamery ... sampled cheese and had ice cream!!...So happy we stopped! We're from Indiana and this was our first visit to Oregon we likely won't return but would recommend our 3 day stay downtown Seattle and our 5 days in Oregon. Pacific Northwest is a must see!! AND did I mention???...we had perfect weather in both places❣️

This property is really old and run down, its also really dirty. I cleaned the glass panels on my balcony myself so we could see out of them. If you look down from the balcony you see the roof and its completely covered in garbage. Also if you leave your sliding door open to hear the ocean you just here the air conditioning units. Our air conditioning in the room did not work. One entire day we had no hot water. Hopefully they can fix the place up, clean it up and turn it around, its a great location!

Going through an extensive remodel

Unfortunately, they were remodeling the outside of the building and working right outside our window. They started at 7 am and worked till 7 pm so we were woke up with loud noises and it went on all day. There was no mention of it going through a remodel on their site.

Terribly disappointed. Property is under construction which was not disclosed prior to booking. All we heard was banging until 7 pm and started again at 7 AM. The room was outdated, the bed was on a metal frame that made a horrible noise anytime you got in our out of it. I was frustrated with the noise and wanted a refund, had they disclosed the construction we would have stayed elsewhere. We were stuck!!! Hours away from home with no where else to go. They refused a refund or a credit for a future stay to offer a redo.
