Welcome to historic Wallingford! Our house has 5 steps to the front door which opens to a comfortable living room with 1924 period charm. The adjacent kitchen was remodeled recently with induction cooktop (safe for kids), pot filler, and butcher block cutting board that it pleasant for food preparation. On this floor are two bedrooms with queen beds and lots of character. Between the two bedrooms is a bathroom which was also recently remodeled that has a glass enclosed shower and laundry chute to the laundry room downstairs - making laundry easy. There is a large private room upstairs with a sitting room, workstation, and TV from which French doors open to a small plexiglass enclosed balcony. On the bottom floor is a sitting room with a large TV. The primary bedroom with a king bed is adjacent to the sitting room and has the primary bathroom with heated floors and a large, jetted tub, large glass enclosed shower and 4-person cedar sauna making the Seattle winters much more pleasant. The 5th bedroom is also downstairs and has a single bed with lots of storage and a dresser. The downstairs back door has a small dog door, and the property is fully fenced and safe for dogs who are not determined diggers. There is another back door from the kitchen with a Dutch door which opens to a small area with a grill. The front and side yards are fully stonescaped and with a sitting table and chairs make for pleasant evening summer meals. Under the wisteria covered pergola along the side yard is a hammock (which will be taken down during winter months but can be made available to you). The house is walking distance to too many restaurants, coffee shops and parks to mention. Come relax and enjoy all this special home has to offer.
