It is not a restaurant and a pub/lounge, the bar is in the restaurant and everything is closed at 8pm . We had a pup with us (they had nothing for them, which is ok, but when we picked up our doggy bowl with dry food in it to leave it was FULL of ants… yuk! Also I didn’t realize it was across the street from the ocean not on the ocean so that was also a little disappointing as it was a very busy road between the motel and the ocean. Not private as the lawn in front had kids playing in it right in front of our sliding glass door. The banging and vacuuming of the room above us was very loud as well. Most TV channels were ‘not authorized’ being there was nothing else to do after 8pm it would have been nice to have the option of a rented movie even… but nope. Would be ok for a 1 night stopover but would not go back.

Great hotel for pets

The view is beautiful, especially sunsets. It is a great hotel if travelling with dogs as you have direct access to outside with grass right there as well as sidewalks all along the seafront. Down side, chair was rather worn and missing a chair on the patio. Would recommend it.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Welcoming, helpful, quick to respond, they embodied all the good things you could want. The view from our room was outstanding, our room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The view of the water was lovely. The kitchenette, living room and bedrooms were just like shown the photos. Comfy beds, clean and a very nice walk-in shower. Not a big fan of carpet. Free parking and great restaurant! It is on the hwy so traffic eventually quiets but the starts up again in the early morning. We stayed on the ground level, and unfortunately, a herd of elephants stayed above. It was hard to believe the people upstairs could never stop walking around in a hotel suite with 3 small rooms. If I return, I would ask for the 2nd floor.

New electric car charger & sliding doors

One of the best hotels in the area. They’ve been investing in renovating this hotel for a few years now and the latest upgrades are new windows & sliding doors and a free Level 2 electric car charger. Bathrooms are very nice with good showers and heated mirrors. Dog friendly and every room has a great view.

Overall it was ok for what we needed but expensive for the quality of the room and facilities. Weird check in experience where we called the number on the door (reception was unmanned) and got a grumpy guy who seemed surprised we’d called him.
