The lady at the desk was very nice. I didnt search to good for a tub. I saw bath tub and shower. Not shower tub combination. I was looking forward to take a bath lastnight. Only way to relax me to sleep. The lady was so nice to try give me a room with tub. The rooms was already taken. My Husband told me for next time I can leave a note for front desk. I never knew I could do that. I still was able to get a goodnight sleep. The road kill cafe is really good. Everytime I come to Seligman I have to go to roadkill cafe and get my wrap. Its so darn good. I had 2 margaritas lastnight. I avoided a shower because showers wake me up. I walked to the cafe figured I probably get an alcohol drink to help me sleep. I got 2. That help me sleep early around 9pm and I woke up at 6am. So I got a very good night rest. The bed is so comfortable. Next time I will try my best not to book last min and stay at the supai just for the batb tub. I wouldn't mind staying here again because the bed was so comfortable. If I do book here again I just make sure I write in the notes for front desk for bathtub please. But I wouldn't mind not having a bath. At least the bed was comfortable and I will buy some wine just so I can be able to fall asleep. I deal with insomnia really bad. And only way to relax myself is a good long bath or some alcohol especially with thier comfortable bed. Surprised how soft the bed was. So I would stay here again only because the bed is so comfortable.

Kim, the woman who checked us in, was super friendly and accommodating. Room appeared to be freshly painted and the beds were comfortable. If you’re looking for a nostalgic Route 66 motel experience, this is the place!

refuge on Route 66

In the ghost town like entity known as Seligman, this place was a welcomed rest as I drove down Route 66. I thought it was abandoned based on the outside appearance and had to call the front desk to come to the office, but inside the rooms were spacious, colorful, and comfortable. I had a great night's rest.

Nice little vintage motel. The property was well maintained and the room was immaculate and nicely decorated. The only problem was the two drunk idiots next door who decided to play their very loud music and swear loudly and frequently at midnight. No manager on site so couldn’t do much about it.

Nice stay

A clean simple room. Wi-Fi a little spotty but otherwise everything provided for our overnight stay. Shower water pressure good. Train runs by motel but didn’t hear it after falling asleep and it kind of added to the Route 66 experience. Would stay again. And if you dine at Lilo’s or Roadkill Cafe and mention you’re staying at Deluxe you get 10% off you bill.

Clean comfortable room. Great location. Easy check in. If you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs as trains frequently pass the inn. That is the only downside to staying in town. Not really a downside for us because we like trains and it’s part of the nostalgia of this cute old town.

Exceptional Service After Hours

We arrived at Deluxe Inn well after midnight, exhausted from our journey, and were immediately relieved by the owners' exceptional hospitality. Despite the late hour, they had made special arrangements to ensure our check-in went smoothly. The owners clearly understand the challenges of travel, as they had kept our room ready and even left the exterior lights on to help us locate the property easily. The check-in process was efficient and considerate of the late hour, allowing us to quickly get to our room and rest. What stands out most about this motel isn't just the comfortable accommodation, but the genuine care shown by the owners in accommodating late-night travelers. This kind of personal attention is increasingly rare in the hospitality industry, and it made a significant difference to our stay. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable night's rest. After a long journey, it was exactly what we were hoping to find. For travelers who might find themselves needing a late-night check-in, I highly recommend this motel. The owners' willingness to work with guests' arrival times sets them apart and shows their commitment to true hospitality.

I was arriving after 10 pm, when their office closes. I called around 4 ish saying I'd likely be there between 9-10 pm and they were great with that, even told me all the restaurants in town were closed by then so be sure to eat before I arrived. At 9 pm, I was still an hour away. I called and they were GREAT, said call us when you get off the exit and we'll be there to check you in. Super nice folks, nice clean room, even upgraded me to a larger room because I have 2 dogs! Was a great comfortable stay. :) Would def stay again.
