Clean (but smaller than expected) room, staff friendly, and allowed me to store bags for the day while I attended a conference. Access to parking at State Library was very handy. Very "hipster" area with lots of eating opportunities around.

This time, plenty of staff but they seem pre-occupied with computers at front desk & bar staff more interested in polishing glassware to avoid customers at bar - unfortunately the experience was so much less customer focused than a previous visit. Room good size. Room/hotel needs refreshing, chipped paint, grout missing, tired. Pool needs a good clean tiles grubby. Pool bar or music doesnt happen during week. QR code to order doesnt allow special requests eg no anchovies, doesnt have all drinks eg soda water. Aircon not great in room had it set to 5° and it was still cooler in hallway. Responsible cleaning wasn't clear you had to bring postcards down tonreception on checkout.
