Staff were very tentative to our needs. We were able to forward our luggage to our next accommodation with their full assistance. Love the Self Checkout. The Superior Double room was a great size for 2 people. I would recommend the gardens in the front of the bulding needs assistance for street appeal.

Hotel Niwa is an amazing choice for staying in Tokyo. Facilities and staff were excellent. Quieter and less overrun with tourists. In the Chiyoda area, near the Suidobashi railway station (easy access to central Tokyo, Akihabara as Asakusa) not far from tokyo Dome. And with food options everywhere. Try Jimbocho Hanaya, and Lobster Ramen at Ebimaru ramen.

Room was clean, staff were very helpful.

Lovely quiet place to stay with an added bonus of an onsen to relax in.

The shared areas are lovely, giving the impression that it is a nice establishment. However the rooms themselves are not to the same standard. For the most part the rooms are fine but they are dated. The bed is very hard and the pillows are horrible. Bathroom is nice. I was told that the would insist on making up the room up every 3 days minimum. However when I booked in a time all they did was take out the trash. None of this was a big issue. Overall the stay was pleasant, the staff was nice and helpful. I would probably not stay in this part of Tokyo again though, and definitely not if I had kids with me.
