Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group - accommodation in Shinjuku

Nice hotel near shops restaurants and metro station. Easy to get from the airport

Room was nice, staff was very helpful and had no issue's having conversations in English. They are very foreigner friendly. We enjoyed the location, the breakfast was wonderful, but can get busy in the mid morning times. Thr location is great but it is close to bars, restaurant and a nightlife area. It is also close to what is considered a redlight area. So not that family friendly from what I saw. We found activities to do during the day and enjoyed how close we were to so many things. I will say, having multiple Apa hotels close to each other with similar names was an issue because we went to the wrong hotel a couple times. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends wanting a unique experience of Tokyo.

Rooms are far too small to be comfortable. Smallest room we had in 3 weeks in Japan
