Very good option to stay in Siam Reap

It is a very good option to stay in Siam Reap, excellent location and rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant was closed because there were not enough guests staying at the hotel and our room smell to cigarette smoke despite it was a non-smoking room. The hotel fix this he first day with a very effective aromatizer.

The food at the restaurant was amazing and reasonable. The room was large and comfortable. The only thing I would give feedback on is the garbage on the street on the way to the river. It is very messy and takes away from the hotel.

The only thing that worth the prize is the location! The conditions of the villages are little bit poor, it’s not a 3 stars hotel. The staff very nice and also good breakfast.

This hotel is gorgeous and the staff couldn't be more friendly. However, the owner/management desperately needs to fix the water heater. We had no hot water the three days we were there. We were told it is solar generated. For a country that is cloudy and rainy multiple months out of the year, there should be a backup system in place. A hot water is a basic expectation of a hotel stay. Management, please fix so your staff can shine! They are great.

Overall, had a great stay - definitely value for money. Quite well located - walkable to Pub Street and Night market. Breakfast can be improved, likewise for hot water for shower. It was lukewarm most of the time. Late, was told by the staff that the hotel use solar panel for electricity.

The staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hot water system is under designed. It was not a great issue due to the very hot weather. The hotel is of funky, modern design with wonderful artistic reverence to it’s local Cambodian heritage. Riversoul is on the quiet side of the river but only 500m walk to the bustling part of Siem Reap. We had a lovely stay and would certainly stay again.

Good location just on the edge of the busy part of town but very quiet. Pool was great especially the giant inflatable duck that resides there.. Nice quirky touch. Spacious family share rooms that we booked were great. Modern but with their own quirkiness in the decor and amenities. Staff at check in spike great English and helpful. Would stay again.

One of the best hotels!

An exceptional hotel and definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at!! The overall design and layout of the hotel and the room were just fantastic!! The service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ms. Coco was accommodating to our requests and was always ready to answer our inquiries and provide us information. The room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The included breakfast were delicious and plentiful! I absolutely loved the small and thoughtful touches/details they provided their guests with - available mosquito spray, umbrella, etc. Definitely a hidden gem in Siem Reap!! Highly reccommended and will definitely stay here again!!

Decent hotel with rotten eggs

Location of the hotel is great (just surrounding area is so-so, but safe and quiet), room was very clean, the problem is service. They have only one person in evening that speaks English, all others only learn few words. Even if you agree about something with that person, nobody know about that in the morning. I came to the hotel in the morning and ask for breakfast. For additional pay - no problem. All their breakfast choices includes meat and it is almost impossible to explain that you don't eat meat. The "nicest" thing was that breakfast had ROTTEN eggs. SO - I did not want to take another risk and for next three days I had only choice of hash brown, tomatoes and bread. Every day I struggled to get 4 small(!) pieces of hash brown instead of 2 and I waited for them for half an hour! They don't serve bottled water. They put bottles in your room, but I am in huge doubts that water is really from bottles. At the end they charge me $5 for broken glass. Considering that very decent vegetarian dinner in Siem Reap costs less then $5 - not bad business, considering that glass somehow tends to break...

Riversoul is a superior value. Contemporary design, cool bathroom, super comfortable bed, friendly staff, out of this world restaurant, and great spa massage and pool. Plus staff arranged wonderful tuk tuk driver to and from airport, and daily tours to Angkor Wat. It’s a half a block from the river and walkable to all of downtown sites.

An enjoyable and relaxing stay

We are a family with 4 adults. We booked a room for 4. The hotel reserved two rooms which are adjecent to each other with a common door, just like a suite with 2 bedrooms and two toilet, which is wonderful. The rooms are spacious. The staff are helpful, in particular Coco who gave very good suggestions about the tour options and recommendations about the restaurants.
