It was not a pleasant experience staying here. The initial impression of the area was very bad. There were rundown trailers lining the parking lot where the entrance of the hotel is. Things were rundown in the hotel and very much needed updating. Caulking in bathroom was not good. There was mold along caulking of shower.

Booked a standard room. The furniture had scrapes and dings all over, one of the beds was broken, there was missing enamel in the tub so the black layer under was visible, and the kitchen was outdated. The front door was narrow as well as the getting a trolley to the elwvator. It is also near a mobile home storage facility and there were a few disables vehiclea arpund. Stayed at others in the chain but this was just not as well kept or updated.

See the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in had blood on my pillowcases. The floor was disgusting. The shower drain had hair in it and the check-in process is a complete nightmare and if that wasn’t bad enough I get woke up at 7:30 am asking me to check out already the individual had tried to unlock my door and come in luckily I had the safety catch on so he could not get in and he repeatedly asked me to check out you check out now and kept saying that one checkout was not until 11 am after his repeated attempts. I decided to close the door get ready and get the heck out of there and why I attempted to ask about it at the front desk all she said was okay and walked away from me.

The reason for the poor rating is. 1. Twenty four hours before I was traveling 5 hours to get to the hotel I reserved two weeks prior the hotel refused to honor my reservation. When my hotels.com called, I explained I reserved the reservations weeks prior and that they had 24 hours to fix it. Needless to say I got to the hotel and the attended stated the construction workers didn't check out. I said that wasn't my problem and that he should still honor my reservation that I made two weeks prior. Needless to say I had to drive around for 1 1/2 hours to find a place to stay. Thank you Hotels.com for finding me a place, but honestly you should have covered the whole cost of the inconvenience of the whole situation. I would recommend you NEVER put anyone up at the WoodSpring Suites Sioux Falls, SD. The unprofessionalism from this place is unacceptable. Thank you, Becky

No pots, pans, plates etc.. in kitchen. Room was surfaced clean, not side ig table or stains off the wall. I used a wet rag and they came off easily. At night i looked sy the door and around top, botton and door jam on opening side i could se approximately an inch of light cominf trough the sides of the door. Door didn't clise right.
