Much better places to stay. Would not return
All looked lovely on arrival however the lobby and the pool area are the only good bit.
We were told we had an upgrade, however the upgraded room was not like the one pictured when we booked. When we questioned this we were told that the original room was even worse.
One of the two lights in the room wasn’t working, though they fixed this the following day, but being at the back of the hotel, it was lacking light.
The bathroom was so small with a child sized tub and a wall either side of the toilet so if you were anything other than a sliver of a human being, you would pretty much be touching the walls both sides when trying to pee. The shower took ages to heat up and the window didn’t completely close. The rooms are run down and have very little storage so there was nowhere to put the suitcases once unpacked. Nothing like the photos.
We didn’t realise you had to pay for towels. €10 deposit for each towel needed and a further €1.50 each cleaning fees. I have never had to pay for a towel to be cleaned at a hotel.
The food was hit and miss, breakfast better than dinner and some days it was completely inedible. We had paid for half board and chose to eat out most days because the food was dreadful. Each time you want to order anything you have to produce the physical room key instead of telling them the room number which was fairly inconvenient.
The location was good and staff were nice enough but I would not stay here again.
