The check-in process is different than we’d ever experienced, there’s no one at the front “lobby” it’s all through text/digital. Which was fine other than a slight delay in check-in, but was corrected quickly. The room was nice, clean and has just what you need. Nothing super fancy but I knew that going into the stay. Beds are really comfy, and the air is easy to set for desired temp. Bring a sound machine because if you’re on the first floor, your upstairs neighbors may be very loud!! We had what sounded like a bunch of children jumping around and constantly making noise. I did reach out to the hotel owners and they tried to make them quiet down, but it only worked for a short period. You really can’t beat the location though, which is really why we chose this place. We parked our car and didn’t use it again until we checked out. That in itself was worth the noise upstairs! Would recommend this place if you’re looking for location and decent pricing, but remember there’s no extra frills. Suggestion for hotel owners: I would have a shoe shelf at the door that has a drip pan. We had to use a towel to keep from tracking in snow and water into our room.

To start , I’m a very easy person to please . I don’t expect unrealistic expectations so my review is my honest opinion on the property. I Booked this hotel for New Year’s Eve without realizing it was contactless . Some people are fine with that but personally I would much rather someone be in an office holding people accountable for being a nuisance . I know it was New Year’s Eve and people are there to have fun but fireworks in the parking lot at 1am was just inconsiderate . We had three children with us (10,1.5,and 2 months of age) none of us got any sleep with people walking by at all hours up until 5am when we chose to just pack up and go back home . I know it should be expected with the holiday but honestly had there been staff on site that wouldnt have been. Thankfully I was on the property 2 hours before everyone’s check in because parking was very scarce if you don’t own a compact car. This was a dog friendly hotel which is nice but some people left their dogs in their room to enjoy nye and they barked for hours. The beds were extremely uncomfortable . The pillows were very flat and almost non existent . The bathroom shower pressure was too strong so the skinny streams of water felt like you were being stabbed . Mold was present in the paint above the shower as well . it was a cheaper price point given the holiday but for almost $300 I would have rather sucked it up and drove home instead of staying a night.

Upon arrival the beds looked sloppy so we were afraid the sheets weren’t changed. The hotel gave us chips and crackers to say I’m sorry and the manager refused to call me. Also, the parking is terrible. They have about 4 guys out there trying to pick the ice all day.

Room was nice and clean, plenty of soap and conditioner, heater works well. Owner / manager gave us towels promptly when asked. My one complaint, and it's kind of a big one, is the bed. It was literally, the worst bed I have ever slept on. When you sit on the edge, it sinks about a foot completely to the bottom. Laying down it just sucks you into the middle. Beds seriously need to be replaced.
