What we love most about this corner unit is the celling to floor glass. Gives you views of the ocean and bay!

This unit is newly remodeled, located on the 2nd floor with a king size bed in the loft and a sofa bed in the living room. Its perfect for a couple with or without children. There are TVs in both the bedroom loft and the living room. Sunchase IV is a gated complex with beautiful grounds, two private beach access, two pools and hot tubs, children's pools, a 2nd floor library just down the hall from this condo, a fitness center, tennis courts, racket ball, table tennis and a 7th floor sundeck where you can relax and take in the amazing ocean views. One pool is heated in the cooler months. The walk through the Beautifully landscaped grounds to the private beach access is relaxing and there are shops and a cafe next door.

You can walk to restaurants and nightlife if you like, or if you wish to dine in, everything you need waits in a fully equipped kitchen. An exceptional condo in one of the timeless buildings on the beachfront, this condo is perfect for your stress-free South Padre Island vacation rental.

Great Location and Property

My wife and I rented this unit in late April. It was a perfect location with easy access to many restaurants and activities. The property itself was exactly as described. Very clean, everything you need to make your own food if desired, washer/dryer, cable TV, great Air Conditioning, and a comfortable bed. It's on the second floor, and right next to a stairway, so you are just steps away from the pool or the path to the beach. We definitely recommend this unit for a stay in South Padre Island and will likely be back in the future.

Our stay at this property was very enjoyable. The condo was very bright and cheery with the floor to ceiling windows. There was good communication with Cynthia and quick response to any questions. There were very clear instructions on how to enter the property. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The heating and cooling system was very efficient. There was an addition in the living room of a double recliner set which is not shone on the pictures. Very comfortable. Overall, our stay at South Padre went very well. Tom and Kathy

10 day vacation

We came in late at night due to our flight. I let the owner know. It was very confusing due to the late hour and no one around. After approaching a nite guard for the second time he was kind enough to show us to the condo. Not as up to date as the pictures - parts of the condo in rough shape. Cupboard door fell off hinges within the first day - sent a picture to the owners and did not get a reply. Living room carpet was filthy.

20th Wedding Anniversary Trip!

My wife and I really enjoyed this beautiful condo during our 20th wedding anniversary trip! The location is perfect. The pool and hot tub were both very well kept. Just a short walk to the beach. Beautiful views from the condo. We LOVED the floor to ceiling windows! The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and check in/check out was super easy. We will definitely return in the future.

Fun for the whole family

Perfect spot for a family of 4. The condo was perfect. The air conditioning worked great. They have Netflix and cable and anything else that you want to watch. Cynthia and Gus provided everything that you would need for a family vacation at the beach. My kiddos had a blast swimming in both pools and playing ping pong. The location was central to everything South Padre has to offer. We had a great time and we’ll be back. The only thing that we would have appreciated more is if Cynthia would have responded to my message asking for recommendations on good places to eat. Besides that, all was good.

Very easy communication with host! Quick response to any question I had. Very clean and bed was comfy. The security light on the property outside the unit was bright at night but host doesn’t control that. Everything was as described and loved location to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Wow is an understatement for this property!! Holy moly it is GORGEOUS!!! Cynthia has remodeled this unit from top to bottom and the floor to ceiling windows are amazing!!!! Wonderful views of BOTH the front and back ocean!!! The resort is amazing as well!!! Super easy check in and all the info was available!

Enjoyable stay with everything at your fingertips

We had a relaxing few days and enjoyed our time. The building is a little older BUT has so many great amenities: pools, tennis courts, racketball courts, ping pong table, library, and best of all PRIVATE beach access. The condo was very nicely renovated in the living area, dining and kitchen. We loved the multitude of windows throughout the living space. During our stay we were able to open the balcony door to enjoy the breeze. The king size bed upstairs was very comfortable while watching tv. The bathroom may need a little tlc but it has everything you need…..no complaints. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The weather turned cold. We froze as the furnace was unable to keep up.

Beautiful, clean unit but very cold. The large expanse of windows didn’t block out the cold and we huddled under blankets for 2.5 days. Furnace unable to keep up. Owner said “Just wait, it will get better”. She should at least purchase a space heater to ensure the comfort of her guests. Bad experience.

Great Condo with Bay and Ocean Views

Nice,comfortable 2nd floor condo in the gated Sunchase IV resort. Heated pool and hot tub access. I unfortunately picked a stormy cold week for the beach, but the condo was well stocked for my needs. Comfortable bed, Netflix/Hulu, and I love the automatic sun/privacy shades!
