The bathroom sink was plugged, the bathroom ventilator did not work. The on-site Restaurant Waiter was verbally rude. At check-in a $75 holding fee was applied for incidental's, when the restaurant tried to charge it against the room it was declined. The front desk room registration clerk cited Maribeau must keep the $75 holding fee. It made no sense, the clerk & waiter rudely & loudly cited it was policy. Throughout the yrs I’ve stayed at the Maribeau on business trips and was never treated so rudely by the staff or declined on-site service room charges. I stated as such along with I never plan to stay there again.

The room had old torn up furniture, carpet was stained, bed cover was stained and the pillows had a musty smell. The beds were very comfortable and sheets we clean.
