Clean room, couch & chair looks nothing like picture (well worn). Deodorizers faded to reveal former smoking damage one day in. Being in a basement studio warrants hearing noises and footsteps from above at odd hours. Bed is clean and comfortable and I managed to sleep well regardless. If you like city hiking the location is decent. Otherwise, this is a good last-minute booking, though I would look elsewhere for peace, quiet and smoke-free lodging.

It was quiet and clean, exactly like it is described in the overview. Owner is very easy to work with and communicates very well with timely responses. I was able to have a very nice stay. The area may seem a little sketchy at first, but there is a cop shop on the corner and the neighbors are very friendly. If you are single or a couple without kids it's a great spot to lay your head while visiting Spokane. They did a great job making it feel welcoming and homey.

Great place

Very nice place for a trip on a budget. If you’re 6ft or higher be aware of the short ceilings, you might need to duck down quite a bit. The neighborhood might seem a little sketchy if you’re not used to cities but you’re completely safe. Be aware before you rent you’re in the basement of where the people who own it live. Walkable to downtown, the river and anywhere you could want to go. Overall I recommend this place.

The neighborhood was definitely sketchy. One guy yelled when my husband put some garbage in the trash can. We did not take the garbage out when we left. Didn't want make the neighbor angry! The place itself is cute!

Comfortable, cozy space

Great little space for my daughter and I to rest our head after a long day of wrestling at the Podium. Property was easy to access, clean and comfortable.
