Outdated and unkempt

Property was in poor condition. Room we stayed in the carpet was damp from either water overflow or extraction. Bathroom not completely cleaned. Peeling paint and baseboards. Pretty much IKEA nightstands and desks. Basically no breakfast except foodservice/school breakfast packaged pastry and toaster waffles. Will never book this place again.

Front staffs and cleaning crew were very kind and helpful at all times. Booked it with Expedia. Room with 2 queen size bed, a tv, microwave, shower/tub and bathroom, a little fridge, lamps, pillows (needs replacement), ground level sturdy floor for kiddos, parking is free (lots of space), Pool and hot tub is in another hotel, building next door. There was maybe a gathering in a group or party going on in there, so it was pretty much attended, most evenings. I guess it was ok to dive, jump, eat and drink in there at your own risk. Walking distance to fast foods around here and a Church right next door, huge lot. Towards the weekend, music was heard from a party in one of the rooms above. Breakfast is served here but kiddos were not happy because there was not much choices to choose from. Dennys next door saved the day. Stars are for staffs and cleaners ONLY!!

The property is dated, but kept fairly clean and tidy. The room was clean, but not perfect. The area around the hotel couldve been picked up a bit more as there were many cigarette butts and debris in the hallway/entryway, but it wasnt terrible for a place to sleep. The pool is in a separate building which is pretty inconvenient. The breakfast had very few options. The rooms are not well insulated from sound and everything inside could be heard in tge hallway. They need to add fans to the bathrooms because it gets really muggy in the room after someone showers. Also, very important note: THE BUNK BED ROOM ONLY HOLDS 180# PER BED; they are for little kids, but honestly didn't seem safe enough FOR little kids. Overall, for a safe place to sleep it was fine. For a vacation, I would fork out a bit more money on a more updated hotel.

Older hotels need to work on showers. The wall bracket was broken so hand held only and located mid shower. A shower is one of the main reasons for motel stay and should offer a satisfying experience.

Feeling bamboozled

We booked the bunk bed room. When we arrived, we learned there was a weight limit for the bed and both kids were over it. We had to move a mattress to the ground and they didn't have any roll aways. Giving all info about the rooms is important- we would have chosen another hotel that could accommodate if we knew. All of the beds were uncomfortable and the walls are paper thin. We heard all of the conversations from the people on either side of us and above us. The hot tub wasn't hot, it was warm and the jets barely did anything. Overall, you get what you pay for. But we will not return.

Staff was prompt and courteous, room was clean except for some garbage that we found in the corner when we moved the chair. Biggest issue was the breakfast. Not much for selection and there was no real hot food ( eggs, bacon, stuff like that you usually find at a continental breakfast) except for toaster waffles and frozen apple pie things you could microwave. Besides that it was a muffin, juice, and coffee. So unfortunately with having children with us we still had to take them somewhere to get breakfast every morning.

Hotel was filthy and rundown, the Expedia listing fails to mention the pool and spa are in a total separate hotel you have to cross a parking lot to access- not practical for kids in the winter to dress and undress and go outside in the winter. The staff was very nice.
