Quick trip. Room was clean, comfortable and grounds were attractive. St. Mary's Restaurant nearby had good food, a lake with turtles and fish to feed and very pretty setting. Staff at hotel was friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly. Carpet in the hall had paint stains and drywall from a previous renovation. Would have preferred a couch vs a desk for sitting. The hotel is in need of updates and renovations. We have stayed at several HI and expect more from the quality of hotel. Carpets were worn the floors in the room were uneven The staff was super helpful and very nice and the rooms were clean.

I thought this hotel would be much nicer but it’s about the quality of a motel. My first room didn’t have any hot water and then my second room had a tv stuck on a single channel in Spanish without a working remote and they did not have a maintenance person to fix it. Avoid this Property at All Costs!!!!!

I don't know how this property stays afloat in its condition and the complete lack of care given by the staff. Holiday Inn should be totally embarrassed to have their name on this one. It is filthy - from the outside to the stained carpet on the second floor. The toilet fill tube doesn't work, so you have to lift the tank lid and manually jiggle the float so that the toilet tank refills for the next flush. The shower water is hot initially, but then goes cold and stays cold. Then, to top it all off, on a Sunday afternoon and into the night I thought there was a family above us bouncing a golf ball on their floor constantly. I finally went up to the third floor and found a re-carpeting crew removing the old carpeting and using a hammer and chisel to remove stubborn glued down carpet. Fortunately, I speak Spanish so I was able to determine that they would finish in about an hour (9:30pm) and then quiet down. I went to the front desk and told them about all of the above and the response was literally - and I quote - "I can't do anything about that!"

The air conditioning was so loud we couldn’t sleep. When we tried to call to get it fixed the phone didn’t work. When we checked out the next morning and explained to the staff member what happened all she said was sorry. The outside building in appearance was very good, inside was falling apart.

It has been over 10 days since I checked out of your hotel, and my incidental deposit has not been refunded. Despite multiple calls and messages, no one has responded. This is unacceptable. If I do not receive confirmation of the refund within 24 hours, I will dispute the charge with my card company and file a complaint with Better Business Bureau

This is an old hotel but clean. The staff is very friendly.we like how secluded the area and lots of nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Cleaning staff did clean our room everyday. We enjoyed our 4 nights of stay.
