Cute Apartment in Quiet Neighborhood

My family and I stayed in this beautiful little apartment for 4 days. It was exactly what we were looking for - - quiet, clean, and centrally located to all the activities on St. Augustine Beach. The check-in information was sent a little later than the typical VRBO, but Wendy the remainder of our communication went very smoothly. We will definitely plan to stay at this location on our next trip to St. Augustine.

Comfortable and with a few improvements, could be great

In addition to my sister and me, two friends (married couple) stayed the first two nights with us. The friends felt that the property could use a more thorough cleaning between guests. The stainless steel refrigerator was all smudgy and when one of the guests took a paper towel and cleaner to it, a film of something else came up with it. Also, when a paper towel was used to clean up spilled water on the kitchen floor, it was quite dirty. The floors needed to be mopped between guests. They also felt the inside entrance door should be cleaned and when the drapes were opened in the living room, the window was really dirty - may have a broken seal so cloudy - and the screen was broken. Bathroom: could use a stopper in bathtub so if one wanted to take a bath, it would be possible. Also, since we were seniors, a grab bar in shower area would have been appreciated and a hook on the door or an additional towel rack. The box holding the key to the property was impossible to put back on so the host ended up telling us to place the key under the mat when we checked out. There was no outdoor mat so we used the one just inside the door. The key holder should be more secure. One final thing -- the internet connection for streaming seemed slow. With these improvements, it is a nice property. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Nice touches: sunscreen was in the bathroom, adequate toiletries, and even a couple of games/books left.

St. Auggies Weekend

Very cute and quaint duplex, in a pretty quiet neighborhood. This place was perfect for my friend and I to have a quick girls weekend of rest and relaxation. It served as a place to unwind, sleep and get ready for exploring. Wendy was an awesome communicator and we appreciated her effort!
