Great place to stay, the hosts are fantastic, friendly and inviting. The lodge is clean well kept and to a high standard. Easy to find plenty of parking and the gardens are beautiful. Would definitely stay again.
We have experienced a delightful stay at Halwell Lodge B&B, spending two comfortable nights in the Luxury Double Room, well appointed and perfectly presented, looking out on a lovely garden.
Choices at Breakfast were very good and served in great style in a beautiful Dining Room-Conservatory with garden views. Parking is secluded and secure.
Our Hosts Tressa & Steve made us so very welcome that we will certainly stay again. All together, a perfect and pleasurable experience and highly recommended.
Halwell Lodge is beautiful.
Hosts are discreet but friendly and helpful.
Room and bed were comfortable and clean.
Beautiful garden and easy (free) parking.
The breakfasts were delicious!
If you want a quiet stay away from the bustle of St Ives, this is it.
The hosts were wonderful, the property and rooms were quaint and beautiful, and the food was terrific! Top-notch BnB! We would plan our next trip to the area around staying there!

super place
Lovely place to stay. Welcoming hosts. Great breakfasts. Easy parking
Halwell Lodge is the perfect place to stay to explore Southern Cornwall. We loved the house so much. It was light and airy yet cosy. Tressa & Steve were the perfect hosts. They cooked an amazing breakfast and served it with a smile. They were happy to give advice about the local area. We would definitely stay there again
Halwell Lodge and its garden were absolutely beautiful and perfectly situated for visiting St Ives and West Cornwall.
Our family room was stylish, modern, immaculately clean and spacious. We stayed for a week but there was enough wardrobe space for a fortnight.
Breakfasts were always delicious and home cooked to order. Tressa and Steve were absolutely superb and couldn’t have done more for us while we were there.
Lovely stay, warm welcome and good breakfast. The property is very quiet so expect a good nights sleep. Private parking on site and plenty of spaces. Easy train journey into St Ives and Carbis Bay. The train station is a ten minute walk from the property (0.5 miles) and takes 10 mins by train to St Ives. We couldn’t get a train back as they stopped running early due to not having a enough drivers (Covid) so we got a taxi back for £12. The owners are very nice people, made to feel extremely welcome.

Lovely couple good location for st ives using the train, great breakfast, nice room but very small, shower room tiny a large person would struggle, we think it should be described as a cosy double
I wish we had more time to enjoy as just a quick 1 night stay. Such a beautiful b&b which is spotlessly clean, welcoming and full of beautiful art and furnishings. The bed was so comfy and the breakfast was amazing. We really hope to be able to stay again and can’t recommend enough. Feel very lucky to have found it.
Good location bus stop very very short walk to get into st Ives. Bed super comfy. Huge choice for breakfast and ever day was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble made our stay very enjoyable. Also have access to sit in the garden with was lovely on a couple of evenings after busy days! Thank you.
