The hotel was unique and had some cool furniture and art, but what was first cool and quirky soon became inconvenient and annoying. Such as the check-in desk being on the top floor of the hotel. Going up and down and up and down got tiring.
Also the air-conditioning did not work properly.
I switched rooms three times trying to get one that had a fan that stayed on. The room was either deathly quiet giving a rain in your ears or loud with people in the hallways or construction outside.
And even in the night it was both too quiet and too loud. It's crazy to me and blows my mind that a semi/lux hotel could not come up with a single fan to provide airflow or noise. It felt like sleeping in a green concrete box.
The only positive is that the dining downstairs had amazing food and relatively attentive staff.
