Hotel from hell!!!!

Walked into the room with the baseboards falling off, multiple holes in the wall, there was huge holes in the comforter and large black stains on all blankets, the bed frame was half broken. If you looked out the window the whole parking lot and side streets were lined with trash. When we talked to staff about the stay they said they’re was nothing they could do to help, they wouldn’t even give us a different room. We then asked for refund and said they couldn’t do it.

So me and my husband got a smoking room just because he smokes. The room that we got, Bed sheets had brown stains on them. Behind the bed was filthy, nasty looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks. ALSO HAD ROACHES. We seen about two roaches we had to kill. I mean I know We chose a Smoking room but the room should still be Cleaned properly. The single chair in the room was filthy nasty and stains all over it. I don’t see why they feel the need to keep that filthy chair in the there. Also during check in, front desk lady gave us a non smoking room and and swore up and down that that’s what I booked online and clearly showed her that we booked a smoking room. Only because so my husband can relax and smoke his cigars. I’ve booked plenty of Super 8 hotels and NEVER had a room that Filthy with roaches at that. If we ever come back and visit STL, Will NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Nasty, dirty and unkept

This place is nasty. There’s mold around the tub, the toilet was loose and moved on floor and the hair dryer was burned from where it caught fire. The blankets had burn holes and stains all over them. I went and bought my own blankets. There were markings on the walls from a child writing. The walls were all banged up and had a large hole that had been patched but not sanded or painted. The smoke detector was falling off the ceiling. The glass plate in microwave was missing. The fabric chair has stains on it. We seen a few roaches. People were running up and down hallways for hours. I tried to find another hotel but everything was booked. I didn’t expect a five star hotel but I did except a clean and comfortable. The staff at the desk was very nice and helpful. It was not her fault for the way the hotel was cleaned or maintained. Avoid this place.

It appeared that my room had just recently been remodeled so the furnishings looked brand new. There was quite a pronounced smell when you walk into the entrance way of the hotel. The shower was excellent, although the caulking on the bathtub could use a little help. The toilet also needed minor repairs but nothing serious at all. It worked fine. Bed was fine. I would use this hotel again without any hesitation.
