Overall Good Stay

Winter the Dolphin's was a treat. Even though there was overcast the entire time, my son still enjoyed the pool. It was great having a balcony, although quite small. It was nice being able to access Hampton's rooftop restaurant/bar right next door. The view was amazing. We only stayed one night but it was very nice.

Beautiful beach area, fun back bar with live music. Service at front bar Friday night was exceptional, staff at back bar on Saturday: slower service, lots of empties sitting on tables. Back barcloses @8pm, front bar @9pm 😞. Bartenders after the back bar closed on Saturday were yelling and cursing at each other about who should do what. One acknowledged that we were still sitting there, then continued on. Nice pillows, cute giftshop, close to shops/places to eat...can walk to variety of things.

Great Location

Stayed at the Winter Dolphin for a long weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it love that it was small and quaint and walking distance to many different restaurants and the beach location can’t be beat just steps away from the hotel.

Our room over looked the Parking garage and gavebus a small water view. It was great with the exception of noise from guess returning to hotel. Also wish we had access to the sister Hotel next door piol as it stayed open till 10pm ours was dusk to dawn and no way near as nice.

Tiffany and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the family suite and it was plenty big enough for 3 kids and 2 adults. The main room had 2 queens and the other room had 2 twins. It had two separate rooms, but with an open doorway. There was only one small bathroom which was challenging at times, but it was fine. I had read other reviews saying the parking garage was tight and crowded so I was worried about that, but it was totally fine. We had an xl SUV and never a problem navigating or finding parking. We were able to walk everywhere except when we took a couple of excursions out of Clearwater beach. The only disappointment was that the Tiki bar was closed and there was a little pop up tent serving drinks instead and sometimes the line was long and hot and very slow moving. Wishing we had been informed about this ahead of time as it was not posted on FB or website. We brought our own beach chairs, so we wouldn’t have to rent them and also we never really just sat on the beach all day. Having our own little beach was great! We had 3 manatees swim right next to us! Very cool. Food at Cabanas was good and super convenient.

We had an amazing time here! The trolley was free at the time of our stay but we walked almost everywhere! Jet ski rental was right next door at Shepards, so very convenient! The pool bar was under construction but they made do with a pop up tent! The staff was friendly! We had our 3 boys with us (17,17, and 7) and we all had the best time. I would come back in a heart beat!

Decent hotel but every time we approached a female front staff member (2 of them specifically), they acted like it was an inconvenience to them to help us. Customer service was overall terrible. It was clear they did not want to be there.
