Welcome to the my home. This charming historic home is only a 5 minute walk to waterfront as well as French Town. Enjoy our huge wraparound porch, and lounge in our swing enjoying a spectacular view. It features a large screened in side porch with a BBQ grill for outdoor dining, an indoor dining room, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen and living room and air conditioning in every room to stay cool. There is also a full size washer/dryer! We look forward to hosting!
This unique location is one of a kind in the heart of the city. You can walk to Main Street, Waterfront, Frenchtown. Frenchtown has a great selection of restaurants and nightlife. My favorite restaurant is Hook Line & Sinker right on the water, or Bella Blue for an amazing breakfast. Along waterfront you will find a mix of bar's and restaurants to include the world famous Greenhouse! Enjoy rum tasting at Bones Rum or a vast selection of tequila's at Greengos. Great shopping area with tons of little shops and you are minutes away from the safari route (island taxi's) that can take you all over the island!
This is not a resort, you will experience living on the island with the locals! This is a tourist state so the people are very friendly. It is a mixed income neighborhood close to downtown, and some of the other houses are not kept up as well, but rest assured it is a safe neighborhood. I welcome you into my home, and there are so many attractions nearby it is too many to list. Just message me with what you are looking for and I can help you with planning your stay! You will be a 5 minute walk from the Famous Frenchtown full of restaurants and bars or in the other direction Main St which is known for tourist shopping, and also lots of restaurants and bars. The nearest beach is Lindbergh Bay Beach, but don't miss out on going to John Brewers beach by the college for great snorkeling! The house is two blocks off main street near the windward passage hotel with a verified usps address but gps is not accurate so directions will be provided. Some of the other homes in the area have hurricane damage but the house you will be staying in is solid concrete and steel so has made it safely through all the hurricanes.
Getting around the island is a breeze! The mango house is in walking distance to the main waterfront road. Once you reach waterfront, you can easily get around via the safari taxis. The safari taxis are trucks retrofitted with seating on the back that run around the island all day. The best part being it only cost $1 to catch a ride! I also have local taxi drivers I can get you in contact with if you have a large group and want to travel together with someone who can show you around.
