Great location, close to town, Queenstown gardens, and the skyline. Bus stops right outside. Friendly staff and the buffet daily breakfast is fantastic. The beds weren't very comfortable but the rooms were practical. Nice big lobby with plenty of different seating areas. Would have liked the bar to stay open till 11pm.

Great location into town, apart from steep hill but it gets easier every day! Rooms are big and spacious. Bed is comfy. Shower and bathroom a good space. Foyer area great. They also have a dry room to store snow gear which was handy

This was our second stay at the hotel, and it was a as good as our first one. The AC can get too warm, and the bathroom walls are frosted glass. Other than that, the hotel is excellent value and the staff are very helpful.

Overall it’s a nice hotel and very convenient as it’s within walking distance to Queenstown shopping and dining centre. There are also ski transport stops right next to the hotel. And a ski drying room for guests gears. Hotel has daily breakfast included which is very convenient specially on days we wanted to hit the slopes early. The only downside for us was the room service would miss stuff in the daily cleaning, like rubbish on the carpet. We’re a family of four so this was a bit of an issue.

NZ holidays

Holiday Inn and Suites gave us the cosy resort feel when we stepped into the front lobby. The reception setup is totally different from the other hotels that we have stayed in so far, we thought we have wrongly walked into a cafe-bar when we first arrived! All of the reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and they went out of the way to answer every questions we may have during our stay. The hotel room was smaller than I expected it to be but it was comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. The toilet is well designed and I loved the thick and fluffy towels. The hotel is located uphill, about 15 minutes walk to and from the town centre so going out is great but coming back is a little tiring. We had a great 5 days stay and will definitely stay here if visiting Queenstown again.
