The Place gets the job done. It’s walking distance to the gondola and was walking distance to Winter Wondergrass for the weekend we were there. They let me check in early and supplied bathroom supplies.

Great location at a good price.

This is a great, spacious condo in a nice location to easily walk (5-10 mins) to Gondola square, but it is also very well served by the Retreatia shuttle, which we enjoyed. Parking is simple and accessible, the condo is simple, a bit dated, but well appointed and clean. We enjoyed the beautiful views and all the windows. We were there in February, and while it was warm for February, still 20s-30s at night and the condo is very warm. We always had windows open. Perhaps this is due to the summit gets or the third floor, but it seems worth noting. The kitchen is well enough appointed to cook meals, and the hot tub was hot!

Great location; third floor condo

The check-in process was not as straight-forward as other VRBO options I've used. You have to go to a separate management office and then to the condo, and repeat the process in reverse to drop keys off after checkout. The condo was spacious and bedrooms were adequately sized. Bunk beds were great for the kids. Our biggest issue was that there is no AC. There are portable swamp cooler units, but when you check in and the condo is already 80+ degrees, the portable AC units don't do anything. And during the day the portable units could not keep up either. Not all of the windows opened, and some of the screens were in pretty bad shape. Even with the windows open it took longer than expected to cool the unit down at night. The grill worked great, and there was a spare propane tank. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and silverware, but otherwise bring your own materials if you plan to cook (BBQ utensils, tin foil, etc.). This would be a great rental option in the fall/winter/spring, but was not good in the heat of summer. This rating pertains to a summer rental; I would rate this higher in the absence of needing AC.
