Hotels & Accommodation near Sturgis Library

Overall, the hotel and our room were lovely. There was a large event taking place during our stay, and a significant number of younger guests from the event were gathered throughout the public areas. While completely understandable, it did make it difficult for us to enjoy those spaces. Our only real disappointment was breakfast. We needed something quick and were directed to the to-go area, but waited more than 20 minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich. When it was made incorrectly, the interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive and we were made to feel as though the mistake was our fault. A little more customer-service-minded handling would have made a big difference. Aside from that experience, we had a lovely room and enjoyed our stay overall.

Julie, the host, was absolutely amazing at communication, at checking in to make sure we had what we needed, at giving us ideas and information about local restaurants and attractions. She was very quick to respond prior to and during our stay. She provided a list of various items, appliances, games, disposable items, kitchen wear, serving platters, pool items that were available to us for our stay. The house was extremely clean and had very warm and happy decor that was so inviting and helped give us that vacation vibe. There was a large dining table in the dining room, a large kitchen table and kitchen island that allowed our group to hang out and dine together. The basement was perfect for the dedicated kid hangout where they could all have a big sleepover and play games. They even had their own bathroom with shower, microwave and small refrigerator to keep their drinks and snacks. I believe there was a foosball table or something of the sort and a TV to connect a game console that one of our family members brought. The pool is quite large with a deck around the pool that leads into a deck with loungers, a bbq grille and fire pit to roast marshmallows. The house was really a lot of fun for our families to spend time together. The location is only a 5 minute or so drive to a Stop and Shop grocery store which was quite convenient because we always seemed to need something from there. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Perfect property!
