The hotel is in a great location downtown in a pedestrian zone. It's very clean and quiet. The room was a little small, and I wish there was A/C or a fan as the nights were warm. I would definitely return.

Great location! Easy walk to Ludwigsburg palace and Pumpkinfest. In shopping district and next door to the mall. Lots of dining options! The staff were friendly. The room was clean Good for a weekend. Parking is in the Mall garage. The only con was no lift so, travel light.

Cozy in Luwigsburg

Photo of hotel tells you it is located in a pedestrian area. Difficult to find from the street. Room was European comfortable and quiet enough. Remember, nonsmoking hotels are not the norm. Private bath as ordered with TV and dorm refrigerator. Centrally located Ludwigsburg as needed. Breakfast was great with traditional variety each morning.

Sauberes Zimmer, klassisches EZ. Der Abfluss im Bad riecht etwas muffig, sonst alles fein. Mein Fenster ging zum Innenhof, konnte es nicht offen lassen, weil bis 22:00 Uhr dort Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten sind und jeder nachts vorbei muss, der nach 22:00 Uhr zurück kommt. Frühstück ist gut, große Auswahl, frische Früchte und Gemüse!

Am falschen Ende gespart leider

Ich war jetzt zum wiederholten Male in der Unterkunft aber diesmal war ich enttäuscht. Das es im Bad keine Heizung gibt, ist nicht schön aber da habe ich mich ja mittlerweile daran gewöhnt. Aber wenn am Tag wo das Zimmer gereinigt wurde die Heizung abgedreht wird und das Fenster geöffnet wird, bis man am Abend wieder im Hotelzimmer ist, ist das spartechnisch schon ziemlich mies dem Kunde gegenüber. Ich bin Monteur und den ganzen Tag auf der Baustelle da freut man sich schon auf ein warmes Zimmer und dann sowas! Frühstück ist ok halt Nix besonderes. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr modern eingerichtet zumindest die, die ich bis jetzt hatte.

Unser Zimmer war richtig groß, auch das Badezimmer, das erfreulicherweise ein Oberlicht hatte. Leider gab es im Bad keinen Heizkörper, so dass es dort eiskalt war! Wir haben die Tür ins Zimmer aufgelassen, trotzdem war es am Morgen nicht so, dass man freiwillig hätte duschen wollen. Lage ist super zum Einkaufen oder für den Weihnachtsmarkt, Parken ist dafür eine Katastrophe, wenn man nicht Unsummen für das Parkhaus ausgeben will. Die 11 Euro für das Frühstück fand ich ok, es gab richtig guten Bergkäse, viel frisches Obst, eingelegte Oliven, und was man sonst so erwartet. Eier leider nur in hart. In Sachen Hellhörigkeit muss ich sagen, dass man jede Tür gehört hat.

Über Expedia eine Übernachtung gebucht. In der HotelBeschreibung dort steht ausdrücklich "Kostenlose Parkplätze rund um die Uhr 100m von der Unterkunft entfernt.". Auf meine telefonische Anfrage beim Hotel, wo diese seien, wurde mir geantwortet, es gebe keine solchen Parkplätze und ich solle in der kostenpflichtigen öffentlichen Tiefgarage parken (Kostenpunkt bis zum nächsten Morgen 15 Euro). Habe die Rezeptionistin nach der Ankunft darauf angesprochen. Obwohl ich ihr die Beschreibung auf dem Handy gezeigt habe, hat sie einfach geleugnet, dass diese Beschreibung von ihnen stamme. Als ich angedeutet habe, dass ich diese unwahre Beschreibung aka arglistige Täuschung in die Bewertung eingehen lassen werde, weigerte sie sich, mich einzuchecken und ich musste mir ein anderes Hotel suchen. Fazit: Arglistige Täuschung in der Beschreibung und unverschämte streitsüchtige Rezeptionistin.

Das Personal war freundlich und gewährte uns einen kostenlosen Upgrade. Statt in einem Doppelzimmer übernachteten wir in einem kleinen Appartement. Enttäuscht hat uns das Frühstück, welches wir zusätzlich zahlen mussten. Im Preis von 11 Euro waren weder Cappuccino bzw. Milchkaffee enthalten noch Rührei. Bei einem Frühstück bzw. Hotel dieser Preisklasse gehört dies unserer Meinung nach zum Standard.
