Excellent place to stay. Stayed here to go to SCUH. It is a very short walk there and the place is amazing. Staff were wonderful and room is great. Couldn't be happier. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Ill definitely be recommending people to stay here.

First of all, the room was stifling hot when I entered only to find the air conditioning was unable to have the temperature lowered other than at Reception which is bizarre. The air conditioning on / off switch had a note to ring nine for Reception to get the temperature adjusted however the unit did not have a phone to ring nine - another failure. So a trip to Reception at least got some cooling on the go. Wanted to watch some television however there was no remote, another trip to Reception to get a substitute remote. The bathroom was next level of unbelievable. The slope of the floor was towards the door and there was no way of keeping the flow of the shower within the shower base thereby floodingthe bathroom floor and only numerous towels at the doorstop prevented it flowing out onto the carpet. Probably one of the worst hotel units I have ever experienced and it is only a few years old. Staff were pretty good and understanding and I think the building has some pretty significant faults which they are used to dealing with.

The room was clean, staff were courteous and helpful. Air con was a little noisy, some biscuits would have been nice. Liked the filtered water, would be good to have option at room temperature. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed in a ZIP Room for disabled facilities. No Drawers in the room Tiles in bathroom need a deep clean Room was not cleaned on one day of the four day stay King-size bed adequate Towels great Toiletries Fantastic Room needed to be a bit bigger as hard to get around in a wheelchair but not impossible. Could not get a coffee after 9 30 am or after 7 30 pm from restaurant even though we ate there the first night. Expected better from an ACCOR / Mercure facility.

The front desk staff were shockingly bad. Rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. Simple questions were met with eye rolls, confusion, or outright attitude. It honestly felt like we were inconveniencing them by existing. No explanations, no apologies, no accountability — just excuses, indifference, and an alarming lack of professionalism. to make matters worse, the hotel has absolutely no active security whatsoever. The combination of no security and a front desk that clearly doesn’t care makes this place feel unsafe and poorly managed.
