Wotif Verified Review
4 / 5
We stayed 3 nights in Seaview Cottage. I'm going to be a little more picky with this review because this is a luxury property, not a budget property. I had high expectations of this property, and the views did not disappoint, but overall, this was not our most comfortable and easy stay.
Pros: Quiet and private, excellent staff, stunningly beautiful grounds and views, appliances in cottage were all in working order, good WiFi.
Cons: isolated (car is a must have), limited options for food on site, the gravel driveway is long, with potholes and washboarding, low water pressure and super sensitive hot and cold knobs made it hard to get the right temperature in the shower, no A/C in cottage, no fans either, pillows did not agree with my neck, and...BUGS! Had to clean up at least 20 millipedes and beetles, and some spiders, on a daily basis. Having to dodge millipedes to prevent stepping on them does not feel luxurious.
