Cozy hotel near market/station

Stayed here for a week while visiting Taiwan, the metro station is across the street, there's convenient bus stops around too. I enjoyed visiting Duhua street, the riverside park and Yong Le market, all of those walking distance. I would definitely consider coming back and staying to see the refurbished rooms.

No stairs so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise the common area was a nice touch with free tea and snacks. That was surprisingly nice. The weird steps in the room and the bathroom took a little getting use to. Overall decent stay. Close to some good markets and street food.

Property is well located with MRT within short walking distance. Lots of good eateries around the area. The night market is also close by with the wharf for the night view. A convenience store was 2 doors away. The room is of a good size n the bed was comfortable. I didnt open the window as the noise fm the wet market downstairs could b heard. The hotel is likely a renamed new hotel as the old name Nine Hotel was more visible on arrival to hotel. There are small steep steps to take to enter the hotel for check in on the 2nd floor so be aware of this if you hv heavy luggage. I was lucky there was a helpful front desk staff to help me bring up my luggage. I thought the shared lounge was a bit small to accommodate minimal people.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, water and coffee/tea/snacks are a nice perk. Room is compact, but effective, again be careful with how much luggage you have. Shower was nice. No elevator, but a single floor (it's on the 2nd floor). Not too many steps, just be careful if you have a lot of luggage. Location is fantastic, MRT station just across the street, convenience store right downstairs, local night market starts across the street, Dihua street market walking distance, tons of restaurants walking distance, various clinics and pharmacies walking distance. If we stay again, would go with a windowless room as it did not add much to our stay.

The room floor was dirty, bed was super hard felt like sleeping on a box frame. Bad smell in the room and washroom The front desk is only there at 10 pm staff speak very poor English Poor communication on email through hotel.com took a long time to reply plus must understanding

One good and one not so.

We stayed a total of 5 nights (3 and 2) over a week in delux twin rooms. The room during the first 3 nights was much better, larger and cleaner and with ample space for our luggage and to hang our clothes. Would have lost a star if it was based in our second room where we there was barely enough space for us to open our luggage and hardly any space for hanging up out clothes. While cleanliness was ok there was a corner behind the main door that was badly stained.

お値段に見合ったホテルでした。 立地は最高。大橋頭駅から徒歩3分、ダーダオヂェンや寧夏夜市は徒歩圏内。土日はすぐ近くに太平市場あり、活気あります。 設備はお値段成り。シャワー湯、水捌け問題無し。バスルーム、トイレに換気扇が無いので使用後は同室人に気を遣うかも。1人なら全く問題ないです。

設備は少し古くてシャワーの水圧も弱めだけど、清掃は行き届いているし、スタッフの感じがとても良かった！特に日本語の話せる女の子が、気配りができて親切で感心しました。地下鉄駅もすぐだし、ホテルの横にはコンビニ、裏には活気のある小規模な市場があって立地も抜群です！
