This hotel was selected by the tour company--not me. It is adequate but nothing special. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is ordinary, and Breakfast was good . on my own i probably would choose another hotel.

The hotel is basic but the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, although of varying quality. I stayed in three different rooms over seven nights - one of which was 5/5 and two of which were 3/5. Try to get a room away frombthe riad, which is busy 24/7. Breakfast is a set menu but excellent with a slight variation every day. The hotel offers free laundry facilities, which is a real bonus. The only food and drink options outside of breakfast are unlimited coffee, tea and water. However, the hotel is well located for convenience stores, a night market and the metro.

Located on the 4th and 5th floors of the same building where ARK hotel and some other businesses are, this hotel is a great spot. The prepared breakfasts (not buffet style) were consistently delicious and the staff were always available to accommodate for any needs. Laundry services are available and the staff at the front desk was very kind to guide us through it. The area surrounding the hotel has excellent access to public transportation, shopping, a night market, convenience stores, a big mall, and other restaurants.

Experienced best services. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean, amenities basic, but great where it counts- fair prices, delicious breakfast, free laundry, convenient location near subway system, shopping, restaurants, street vendors, etc. nearby, Had a family get together in Taipei for a week, recommended by friend, and just lucked out staying at this little gem.

I had a great stay at Horizon Inn! I’d really recommend getting the breakfast option, they would bring out a tray with a pastry sandwich, egg, salad, vegetables, and fresh fruit which was slightly different every day. There is also free laundry (washer and dryer) and they will give you laundry detergent. Staff were overall friendly and helpful (and spoke English!). My only negative was it was a hassle checking in at a time outside of the normal check in period (my flight arrived in the early morning). If you need a different check in time, you should call them before making the reservation to confirm it is ok and then make a note about the request in the online booking. They weren’t happy when I asked for the different check in time after the booking, and I actually had to cancel my original reservation and rebook the “proper” way. Would stay here again!
