150 metros guesthouse also includes handmade Guanacaste native wood furniture and unique features throughout the house to give it a cozy, yet sophisticated feel.

When it's time to dine, our spacious dining room seats eight comfortably, with an additional four seats at the quartz counter top island. Wonderful place for a family vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at 150 Metros in Costa Rica with our four kids, aged between 7 and 16. The house was clean, relaxing, and felt very safe. The area was great, with enough restaurants and just enough activities to keep us entertained if we wanted, but still peaceful enough to relax in tranquility. Overall, a wonderful place for a family vacation!

Avellana Paradise

This home is beautiful. It was perfect for our party of 8 (4 kids, 4 adults). The property was well maintained, and if by chance you get tired of being there (doubtful) the beach, which is a very short walk away, will not disappoint. Just up the street is a wonderful natural playground where parents can get a drink from the bar and relax while children play (why don’t we have that option in Canada!) Thanks to Brenda and to the property manager for a memorable stay.

We had an excellent experience at 150 Metros!   We visited for 9 nights over New Year's.  We have been to Costa Rica, and specifically Playa Avellanas multiple times in the past.  This was our first visit to 150 Metros, but it won't be our last!  The house was incredible.  The design and layout was fabulous.  My husband and I took the master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and my parents and daughter took the two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs - they said they felt like they had their own suite up there!  The kitchen is amazing - we didn't do any cooking but enjoyed the fridge for drinks and snacks.  The house was clean and well kept.  I also appreciated the washer/dryer.  We greatly enjoyed the roof top and 2nd floor balconies.  We were able to see howler monkeys, iguanas, and many types of birds, including green parrots all from the house.  The pool was delightful and was kept clean by a pool cleaner 3 times a week.  You can't beat the location to the beach and local restaurants.  The property manager, Chiara, was great.  She did a great tour of the house when we got there and answered any questions we had throughout the week.  She is super responsive on WhatsApp.  I can't say enough good things about 150 metros!  We will definitely return on our next trip to Costa Rica.
