Hotel has been around since the early 90’s. It is in very good condition. The atrium is very nice. Staff is very helpful. Large pool and adjacent fitness room.

Stayed here for a dance competitions at Jefferson High. Could walk back and forth. Next to a. Nice steak house. Rooms were decent. Smelled a little old and weird. Courtyard was pretty. Pool and gym were decent. Staff was friendly as well.

We had several reasons for our overall rating of poor. We found the pool temperature to be cool and it was very dark and gloomy in there. A cockroach crawling by one of us when we were seated around the pool was the final straw. There was also a dead bug in the bedding of the pull out sofa bed and another dead one on the floor in the livingroom area. There is a beautiful atrium with waterfalls and foliage, but there were no chairs or couches provided to allow one to enjoy it. The breakfast was expensive and really not very good. For the price we paid, a continental breakfast would have been nice. We also found the lighting very limited in the room making it difficult to see for anyone not able to get ready in the bathroom. It's a small bathroom, so it can only accommodate one person in there at a time.

I reserved a suite with a full kitchen & WALK-IN shower for 8 nights/7 days. My husband CANNOT step over a tub to bathe. The Expedia itinerary confirmed the options I selected. At check-in I double-checked with the agent that we had a walk-in shower & was told we did. On entered the 1st suite they assigned, the suite contained a mini-bar & bathtub. A walk-in shower & handicap accessible tub are NOT interchangeable. After a long wait, we were reassigned to a room with a walk-in shower but still had to settle for a mini-bar for the entire length of our stay. I am disappointed with both Expedia & Sheraton as each points the other regarding what is reserved & expected then what is delivered. I willingly spend more to reserve in higher grade hotels but, in return, expect them to meet my expectations.

The stay was very nice. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, accommodating, welcoming. Anything we needed, any questions we had, were always taken care of immediately. The room was very clean. Our room was a suite. When we entered, the first room had the sofa bed, coffee table, table with the TV, round table with four chairs and the kitchenette. The second room had the bathroom, king size bed, side tables, closet and dresser. There were several lamps in the room, but, it wasn't as bright as I would have wanted. The only thing that was really disappointing was the low water pressure and amount of time it took to get the water hot enough to take a shower. One of the best things about the hotel was that it was very quiet. We did not hear any noise outside our room. We also loved the beautiful garden area in the middle of the hotel and loved that we would exit our room and be able to look down at the view of the garden area and restaurant. We had breakfast in the restaurant. The prices were great and so was the food. Parking is an extra $12.00 per day, and the parking lot is limited. We loved how close the hotel was to the airport. It was also minutes away from West Shore Mall, which had many great stores and plenty of restaurants to choose from, and Publix was right across the street from the mall. We visited for a wedding, so we did not do any sight-seeing, so can't comment on that.

Nice room. But if you’re a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room that doesn’t face the freeway…

Staff was very pleasant. The rooms do have a funny moldy smell. The staff changed rooms for me but all the rooms smell the same.
