Definitely an older hotel, but it's renovated, the beds are comfortable, and there is a great restaurant just down the street called Mission BBQ. No airport shuttle, but it's not too far from TPA so Uber is a reasonable fare. Friendly front desk service.

My friend and I booked this room when we were snowed in in Tampa and could not get home. The room was nice and spacious for 2 people. It was very clean, beds comfortable and hot shower hot :) The staff was terrific. We enjoyed our short stay.

Staff was very helpful, and even updated me I had two accounts for Hampton Rewards. We used the hotel to relax for a few hours before a late flight and worked out very well.

I found the staff at the front desk to be friendly and helpful. The outside of the hotel looked clean and the same for the lobby. The carpet in the hallways was showing its age. The room was well-appointed and the bathroom was nice. Room was a bit musty (a common problem in Florida hotels) which was made worse by turning on the heat. I didn't care for the room interior decor. It was sorta "cheap modern" if that's a thing. I experienced repeated issues with the TV reception (perhaps due to airport traffic). The area immediately around the hotel was typical "airport neighborhood". There was a nice Arby's next door that had gone out of business. On the other side was a warehouse of some sort. On the other side of that was another out of business eatery. There was a newer Wawa a block down on the same side of the road. Driving around was a bit of a challenge because you can't turn directly into the property if heading West on Waters. There is a concrete median so you have to go down a block or two either direction if you want to enter unless you happen to be going East on Waters to start. I gave the hotel a 4 because many of the issues were beyond the control of the local team. However, I do feel you could find a better place to stay in Oldsmar.
