Downtown Tampa getaway

Great hotel and location. Walking distance to downtown, convention center, Amalie arena and Riverwalk. Super comfy bed, delicious breakfast. Free room upgrade due to rewards program. $50 valet parking and normally a $50 resort fee is high, but expected at a metropolitan four star hotel. Customer service was fantastic

It was very difficult to order in house dining, the button didn’t work on the room phone and the website wouldn’t work. We eventually had to call the front desk and they relayed our order. There was also a lot of cigar and cigarette smoking right outside and nearby the hotel entrance while we awaited our Uber ride.

The hotel staff and room was excellent in a great location to walk around and enjoy the city. Only reason for low rating was the attached Ruth Cris steakhouse. As we were seated and waited for a waiter/waitress for thirty mins and didn’t get service at all. So we left and went to the hotel bar restaurant and were served promptly and the food was excellent.

Stay at the Westin Tampa

My husband and I were in Tampa for a veterans convention. The hotel and hotel services were very nice. The room had only one sitting chair even though the room had two beds. The soap dispenser never got filled even though we stayed for 3 nights. The food was excellent along with the hospitality.

Smelly dirty old hotel. Parking 50.00 Resort fee 30 per day ridiculous . dirty carpet throughout hotel smells like smoking in hotel even though supposedly there's no smoking . pictures of hotel are deceiving and a scam. never again.

We love the location of this property! The food at Jacksons is excellent and has an amazing view of the harbor. We ate there 3 times over our 3 day holiday so you know its good food! We also shared a slice from Fold, they too make amazing specialty pizzas 🍕! The rooms and beds are comfy, the carpet should be changed out, it has been walked on a lot, but it is still very well kept and maintained. Our housekeeper was the best she took fabulous care of us to make sure our stay was perfect! Our breaky staff Juan and team were super cool and even recalled our foods we ate the day before and brought us over some of the items we had enjoyed the morning before. Kate at the front deak ensured we were hapoy and comfy in our room and helped us to extend for an extra night. We have stayed here before and its walkable to Amelia arena and the convention center too. Hope you enjoy your stay! 😘
