Quaint hotel close to the water front and shops

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was warm and showers and toilets were clean.

Lovely hotel close to town

great accomodation. Close to the shops and the lake walking distance. lovely staff and free breakfast. great stay for those exploring taupo.

Well situated

Pros: Clean/position
Well situated acomadation close enough to towns pubs / club but not to close as to be disturbed. Great value and helpful staff

perfect affordable accomodation

Pros: location, facilities, affordable absolutely perfect
Cons: everything was fine
Location: walking distance to CBD perfect location
stayed for 2 nights chose room with own shower facilties were great communial kitchen was spacious with a bonus free continental breaky i would recommend to anyone and will visit again absolutely perfect affordable accomodation

Location: Handy to cafe's, restaurants and shops.
Clean tidy and comfortable close to town. Very helpful staff. Quiet location. Wonderful sleep in very comfortable bed. We only stayed overnight on our way to Auckland which was a great idea. Thanks Tiki Lodge.

Great hostel close to lakefront and nightife

Pros: Large clean room with ensuite, kitchen facilities, TV room and balcony
Cons: Alcohol allowed in room
Location: Great location close to lake and nightlife (such as it is)
We had a large room with 2 double beds so I didn't have to put up with the wife kicking me all night ;-) On site free parking and free wifi. Helpful staff who recommended an excellent Thai restaurant within walking distance as most bars and restaurants are from here. Would thoroughly recommend as a reasonably priced stopover in Taupo.
