This is my favourite resort out of the three we stayed at this trip. It's a very intimate feeling place ideal for couples, however, there were families staying here while we were here. The pool isn't the best of all the resorts, however, everything else was the best of the others we stayed at. The staff, the menu and fresh food options and the location are amazing however, you are a long way from shops, so make sure you bring everything with you, including snacks etc. But this will definitely be a resort we return to agin and again.

Incredible oasis of a property, had everything we needed for a truly relaxing holiday. The staff were warm and friendly and very attentive to our needs, the food was outstanding. Our villa on the beach was clean, bright and beautifully designed. The location was perfect, very quiet and right on the beach with a lovely breeze on most days. The pool was ok and it’s a shame you can’t swim in the ocean too easily as it’s surrounded by coral reef, but it’s so inviting and one of the cleanest beaches I’ve seen, we will definitely be back.

Most awesome holiday experience
Pros:The staff, food, accommodation and position on the beach.
Cons:Internet was very slow but I expect that is an issue of Vanuatu rater than the resort
Location:Tamanu is about 30min drive from Port Vila, located on the beach. You can get there by taxi, bus or hire car. Pickup and drop-off available.
We just loved it at Tamanu! We had spent 3 nights prior at the Warwick Le Lagon, and would say that Tamanu was substantially better. From the moment we first walked in to the moment we left, everything was taken care of for us by the wonderful and attentive staff. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable with wonderful views, sea breeze and air con. Our room (unit 4) was absolute beach front and a 30 second walk to the restaurant and beach. The menu is modern that highlights the produce in the area with a focus on seafood and fresh fruit and vegetable. The service is the best you will see, and the staff are always smiling and very personable. Dishes are plated and presented with elegance and detail and you can eat either in the resturant or your room. There is coral reef directly on the beach, and there are nice areas to swim in the area. At night, the staff lite a couple of fires on the beach and provided bean bags to sit on. We would say this is a must do place to stay for couples who like quiet sophistication and enjoy fine dining in a relaxing and beautiful setting.

Romantic get away
Pros:Location and atmosphere was fantastic.
Cons:Internet was too slow to do any work with
Spent Valentines day there and it was amazing. Had the coral bungalow ad fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Restaurant was good too and coconut vodka and cocktails were fantastic.
Enjoy the umbrellas and sun loungers for a relaxing day at the beach. At Tamanu on the Beach, pamper yourself with a treatment at the full-service spa or have fun in the sun with activities like snorkeling. Free breakfast is available daily. There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include a beach bar and a bar/lounge. WiFi is free in public spaces. This beach resort also offers an outdoor pool, a garden, and a terrace. Self parking is free. This 4-star Teouma resort is smoke free.
