Right in town and just far enough out of Thurso to avoid the noise. Gas station right down the road and beach the other way, good for a stay with friendly staff and quite accommodations.

What can we say but “Thank You” to the wonderful Victoria who greeted and treated us with warmth and consideration aplenty. Greenland House was so much more than we expected, with its charming architecture and exquisite furnishings & decor. Victoria was an exceptional host, and her sumptuous breakfasts supplied us with enough energy to keep us going throughout the days exploring the wonderful sights that this part of Scotland has to offer. We would both highly recommend Greenland House B & B to anyone looking for a true Scottish experience. Oh, and don’t forget to head to Dunnet Head to check out the puffins!!!

Spacious and comfortable bedroom in an interesting 100-year-old-plus house, friendly welcome, peace and quiet, good breakfast included, handy for the Pentland Ferries crossing to Orkney.

Great overnight stay in a really beautiful house, pleasant host and nice breakfast. Walking distance to superb beach . Eating places a bit limited in Castletown, so book ahead of you can.

A lovely B&B and excellent host.

A little outside Thurso itself but a lovely clean premises and warm friendly welcome on arrival. Eating out in the evening was good in Thurso and our breakfast at this B and B couldn't be faulted. We would stay again if driving this far north.

10/10!! We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The check in was really easy and the host was lovely and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The room was very clean and I personally loved the decor. We had a private bathroom which was also really spacious. Breakfast was a delicious continental and there was the option for a cooked breakfast at no additional cost. Would highly recommend this property and host, will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area again.
