The room was as anticipated - large by Japanese standards with an incredible mural throughout. Amenities were provided, including ear plugs as the area was a bit noisy.

funky little place in great location

Cons: I'de have liked another pillow each, and a sheet that was separate from the heavy doona given the warm weather and slightly quieter aircon
Location: Very close to Koenji station, on a quietish street and near lots of great places to eat. Highly recommended as something special and interesting
Akira's tiny artists' hotel was as a different an experience as its possible to imagine from the enormity of most other things in Japan. He is friendly and helpful- introduced us to his friend's lovely Japanese curry restaurant and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are interesting and quirky, each one unique in design and style. Tiny but perfectly adequate. V

Nice people

Pros: People, location
Really enjoyed my time at bna koenji, enjoyed meeting everybody involved in that place. There's a good energy.
