This is the second time that I checked into the room and it smelled of smoke. The staff was apologetic and changed my room but I was expecting that the room would be inspected before the check-in.

The staff here is very polite and happy to help you. All the employees I spoke to understood English and were able to help me with any questions I had. The garden is beautiful.

I use to get 4 1000 yen vouchers at check. I haven’t gotten any the last 2 times. I enjoyed buying danish or cookies at the pastry store to have with my morning coffee. My birthday was November 7 when I checked out. I returned on November 12 and will stay until November 25. Hotel Okura this year gave me flowers. Last year it was cookies and always a birthday cake. Imperial Hotel gave me a photo frame and I only stayed 2 nights November 9 and 10. Otani could have given me something. Just for your information.

My stay at Hotel New Otani Tokyo was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. The room was spotless and peaceful, and the staff provided exceptional hospitality—warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. I loved that the property had everything I needed right on-site: amazing restaurants, a spacious shopping mall, and lovely antique shops to explore. It made my solo trip feel safe, relaxing, and luxurious. I didn’t even need to leave the hotel to enjoy Japan. I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

The New Otani Tokyo is always our Goto hotel in Tokyo. It is great to come back to this hotel after a busy day of shopping and visiting different attractions, as it is very calm a relaxing. This hotel is walking distance away from the subway and many dining options we love this facility. They are really consistent with the up keep and the service. Their breakfast options are excellent. I will be back in a few months.
