Try a different place.

The room temperature was hard to control and were too hot. The bathroom plumbing was incredibly more complex then most Hotels in Japan. Beds were also hard and pillows terrible.

I'll admit, I was disappointed. The room was very small and there was no where to store luggage. The bathroom was about the size of one on a cruise ship. Definitely no frills!!!! The staff was helpful!

Cozy and close to the action

My room was cozy but perfect for proximity to transit. Great neighborhood by the park (closed Mondays). Great bar next door called Kohaku. After I took a bath there was a bit of moldy smell but the window opened so I was able to have fresh air. Hotel staff helpful and kind. I was able to borrow an umbrella when it rained. All in room amenities very helpful. Did not find a place to refill water bottles which would have been nice and promoted the eco friendly vibe tge hotel claims.

The staff were very kind and used Google translate to help talk to us since we know only a little Japanese. The combini were very close and easy to get to. The only thing I could say wasn't perfect was the room being a little small; about the size of a bedroom.

room was quiet and tidy. the spa was nice. however, the toilet nozzles in my room were clearly not checked in a long time since the stream would stop working randomly several times. also the "soft" spray absolutely jet blasts. being on floor 2, it was not clear if the stairs are available or not.
